As a member of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Cincinnati, Edmonton State Bank can offer Welcome Home Grants worth up to $20,000 which is applied toward the buyer’s down payment and closing costs. Grants are available beginning March 3, 2025 for a limited time until funds run out.
Program Features:
- Designed to help low-to-moderate income buyers achieve homeownership
- Buyers must pay only $500.00 towards the purchase of the home
- Home must be used as buyer’s primary residence
- Buyers are not required to be a first-time homebuyer
- Grant can be used in conjunction with other programs (e.g. FHA, VA and USDA/RHS)
- Portion of grant may have to be repaid if home is sold or refinanced within five years
- Subject to loan approval and FHLB approval
