April 4, 2025: Important Notice for Customers Receiving Junk Mail
At Edmonton State Bank, we want to assure you that we never sell or share your personal information for marketing purposes. However, when you close on a mortgage loan, certain details—such as your name, address, and loan amount—become public record when the mortgage is filed.
This means third-party companies not affiliated with Edmonton State Bank can legally access this information. Many use it to send marketing materials that may appear official or urgent, often including phrases like “Important Mortgage Information” or “Final Notice,” and sometimes even referencing our name to gain your trust.
Please be cautious. If you receive mail like this and are unsure whether it’s legitimate or a scam, contact us directly at 270-659-3546. We're here to help you stay informed and protected.
